The Sopranos — Season 4
Season 4 of The Sopranos signifies a real tonal shift from its predecessors, where the hulking shadow of the 'end times' begin to tangibly loom over all aspects of Tony's life. Where Season 3 chose to scrutinize his fatherhood, Season 4 deconstructs the lies of his marriage.
For this poster, I wanted to utilize the season's visual symbolism rather than choosing to highlight the cast. The rosary hanging off the rearview mirror from Tony's Calling All Cars dream and the deceptive lull of the Whitecaps purple shores were the strongest images to help convey a sense of impending doom..
(I’m still mourning the fact that I couldn't fit Pie-O-My into this one, though.)
